raidendedo

poetry, poertry, poor vi tree

Having a coffee next to mom. Didn’t sleep as well as I did last night. I can feel in my throat that I was snoring. I woke up a few time in the night without my cpap mask on; I must’ve been taking it off in my sleep.

After writing yesterday I checked out some books from the library. A piano for dummy’s book. A singing for dummy’s book. I’ve been practising guitar more than usual the past week and I think replacing scrolling with music might be a good move.

I did some of the singing exercises last night. They are kind of tough. I don’t come from a singing background.

The fish biologist guy inspired me the other day. I got a book on fish. I got two books on Alberta. One on the people another on early politics. I guess three books, one is the history of Canmore. I got a book about a woman who hiked the Appalachian trail.

I lied about the fish book. I thought I checked it out but didn’t. Perhaps I can message that guy today; he had a slide in his presentation with four books I thought looked interesting. I think it would be good to read them.

The list of books I’m reading grows, but will it ever shrink?

It snowed yesterday.

I found the book online by the dad of the guy I met on Wednesday who hiked Mt Everest. That’s a book I’m trying to read now as well.

Trying to read. Do or do not; there is no try. As Yoda would say.

I guess… I guess I just want to be impressive. I want people to meet me and leave the interaction thinking ”There goes raidendedo, the best there ever was…”. That’s a The Natural reference. It’s a. Baseball movie.

Baseball, what a sport.

I’m reading Jim Bouton’s Ball Four. I think I’ve mentioned that here before. Another book on the list of books I’m reading but will I ever finish?. A good book. Interesting. Dated. From the 1960s or so. Interesting because he’s the same age as me in the book. He’s got three kids in it. We’ve gone over that.

My brother get’s married this Summer. My friend from university in the Fall. His bachelor party is in Halifax; it’s the same weekend as a family friend’s dad is getting remarried. Weddings. Damn.

The owl lady said that cat’s saliva has toxic to birds. I had my doubts about that statement. Do you think it’s true? I do know cat’s kill a lot of birds. The owl lady’s talk was about Saw-whet owls; I had never heard of them before. Cool birds.
